Ellen Acevedo is Vice President of External Affairs at UCAN. She serves on the board as Co-chair of Latinas on the Plaza Annual Conference and Coordinates Mastermind groups for Latinas.

What is your passion? Service to those who are undeserved. Professional development and guidance for women.

Volunteer activities:

School on Wheels (ESL tutor), Ascension Parish (event/development team) and Mujeres de HACE Advisory Board work and UCAN.

What will you be doing in five years?

Working as a leader in external relations for a forward thinking institution and preparing to move to the mountains to spend my free time skiing!
