
Marlene Perez
Marlene Perez is a Senior Analyst with over 12 years of finance and accounting experience in the energy sector. Her specialty areas include cash flow forecasting and management, U.S. petroleum pricing for international high-net worth accounts and overseeing world wide accounting systems.
In her current role at BP products of America, Marlene is responsible for implementing critical financial checks and controls in the reporting, analysis and assurance of accounting policy for the global Integrated Supply and Trading Finance of BP Products of North America. For over a decade, Marlene has combined her passion for data-mining and providing solutions to contribute to over three different units across BP Products of North America, including crude settlement, transaction control and Air BP Pricing and Cash Applications.
As a community leader, Marlene is passionate about giving back to others, especially among youth in the Chicago area. She volunteers in the classroom as an active mentor in the Junior Achievement Program, teaching kids enrolled in Chicago Public Schools, the real-world skills they need to succeed. In addition, Marlene is the Lead Activity Coordinator for the SPRED Program at St. Mary of Celle, and teaches religious education to teenagers with developmental disabilities.
Marlene holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Lewis University. She is a member of ENERGIA, BP’s Latino Employee Resource Group and enjoys opportunities to learn, grow and continually develop personally and professionally. In her spare time, Marlene enjoys keeping active by participating in 5Ks and spending time with family.
